Valezka

Valezka came to ADLN as a very tiny, thin three month old; she had heart problems that had not been significantly diagnosed to know if she would need surgery right away, or if medication and waiting to see how nature helped her heal would be the way to go.

Her parents were childless until in their late forties, and then their miracle happened, Valezka came to them as a wonderful surprise. Unfortunately, like many people in Mexico right now, they are both out of work and very desperate about how they would find the medical care that their baby needed.

Though local physicians who work with Amigos de los Niños, we have been able to diagnose Valezka's problem as being a condition she may outgrow, she is undergoing continual tests and medical supervision to track her cardio condition. She has also gained weight through special supplements the doctor recommended and ADLN has provided.

We look forward to Valezka's having a better infancy; solving her heart problems and watching her grow into a chubby, healthy toddler!
